Spirituality & Visual Art

Mandala; in sanskrit – literally means "circle" or “magic circle” is spiritual and ritual symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism, representing the universe or the cosmos metaphysically or symbolically.

A Mandala is a spiritual and visual representation of whatever it is you’re going through at the time. The inner voice speaks to you via art form of the Mandala you draw.

Ines is a mandala artist, nature lover, and a mother of four. She worked in publicity as a copywriter, has been a journalist and editor of a magazine for more than a decade and published several books.

She creates nature mandalas, outdoor installations, personal astrological mandalas, and mandala-inspired handicrafts and jewelry. Nature is her favorite source of inspiration, and majority of her work takes place in and with nature. With a focus on process and presence rather than product, Ines’ mandalas emphasize the role that art and creativity can play in our everyday lives.

For the last decade, she has been working exclusively with mandalas, experimenting with different materials and practices and acquainting herself with the symbolism and meaning they carry.
